Case / Cabinet Versions

Section 1
TRM/916, TRM/920 (TRM/9xx) OPEN FRAME VERSION. Eval Version.

Standard delivering version without case / cabinet. This version is designed for mounting the system inside something, e.g. inside machines, vehicles, cases etc. We call this OPEN FRAME - this means: no case / no cabinet. Simple and naked for an using whereever our customers need - maybe to mount inside an own customized case / cabinet, inside a machine and more. Please regard  the threadneddle pins on the backside of the frontpanel for easy mounting. (If you prefer a frontpanel WITHOUT threadneddle pins on the backside: please specify this in your order!)

Section 2
Option: Mounting Frame for TRM/9xx Series
Ordercode: TRM/9xx-Mounting Frame

Mounting frame for TRM9xx. The mounting frame fits arount the frontpanel and allows an easy mounting of the open frame system. Available for TRM/916, TRM/920. Material: IP54 protected plastic frame.

Option: TRM/9xx in IP Protected Slim Line Metal Case WALL MOUNTING Version
Ordercode: TRM/9xx-IP65-WM Case

Shown case / cabinet is a slim line case especially for TRM/916, TRM/920 products with 55mm width only. It offers an IP protected front panel with protection against dust and water (IP65 protection). Note: Shown standard connectors are not IP protected. Special IP protected connectors are available in customized versions on request only.

Standard connectors on this case - on the right side -:

• RJ45: Ethernet LAN Networking
• DIN: Power (Note: TRM/xx systems in case need special power supply with DIN connector. Ordercode: PWR4-TRM-SCREW. Please refer option and pricelist for details. (DE:Optionen. EN:Options.)
• 9pin SUB D male 1 connector: Serial port COM1 / RS232
• 9pin SUB D male 2 connector: available with function for CAN or COM2.
  Standard using is CAN interface.
  Additionally options: TRM-COM2-SUBD1: uses COM2 instead CAN.

A cable kit for connectors is included with the ordercode. This means, if you order the TRM/9xx with this case, there is no need to order extra cables!

The case is prepared for easily wall mounting with with four removable brackets.

Note for additional PC/104 IO: The shown extremly flat / slim line case does not supports an additional PC/104 IO board on the backside of the standard case / cabinet. If you want to use an additionally PC/104 IO Extension board together with this case, you have to change the backplate - see here special pictures for such an solution. (Special backplate available as customized version in qty only.)

Section 4
Special: TRM/9xx with adjustable holder

Pictures above shows TRM/xx-IP65 case with vehicle holder, e.g. for car / vehicle mounting. It is designed for TRM/xx series together with IP65 slim line case.

Description: A metallic backplate is mounted on the backside of the TRM/xx case. An adjustable holder is mounted in the car / vehicle: the TRM/xx snaps in easily. The holder is adjustable for the best viewing angle from the user. The holder and special holder backplate are options and not in standard cases. See following pictures for details:

Option: TRM/9xx IP Protected Plastic Case WALL MOUNTING Version
Ordercode: TRM/9xx-IP54-WM Case

System together with mounting frame inside an IP54 plastic case for wall mounting. This case supports 2-3 additionally PC/104 cards on the backside. Ordercode contains mounting frame. Dimensions appr. 257x 213 x 114 (72) mm.

System with Mounting Frame and backside IP20 protection case. Ordercode contains mounting frame. This configuration available as customized version with a minimum qty only. Please contact sales team for details.
